Increasing Metabit production rate

I'm sitting on Simulation 52 (E17) with a Metabit production rate of 3.53 B/s. I think I've seen it as high as about 15 B/s in past simulation iterations, but I'm not sure. Regardless...

It seems like there are three things that increase this rate (in order of effect): Feliforms, Glires, and Jellyfish. So I have been maxing out Jellyfish first, then topping off the other two.

Am I missing out on something somewhere in terms of how to max out my rate?
I usually push all other generators up over 100, but does pushing them higher do anything positive? Do they simply aid in being able to purchase more Jellyfish sooner?
Lately, I've been resetting my Simulation about once a week. Any benefit/drawback on Metabit production in doing that?

The Metabit production is in the process of tuning, since the Giant Squid trophy ruin it. So, it is not surprising that the production decreases a lot.

Make sure to purchase every upgrades, and play events as much as possible in order to recover the production.
Sure! More generators = More production. Buy as much as you could to buy more Jellyfish.
Resetting simulation will increase Metabit producion, but it is not the best way to do.
