"ERROR: System malfunction... Dodo ghosts have overridden the Primary Simulation."

A Dodo Ghost Hunt is a special Halloween themed event. It spawns 70 dodos all around the different gardens in the Primary Simulation. Semblance says that these ghosts are viruses trying to haunt the simulation. Clicking on the ghosts will trigger them to turn into dust and then vanish. Ghosts are translucent, have different Dodo-like shapes, and like to hide in various places, some of them very hard to find. Finding and destroying all of them will unlock a secret achievement: The Spookiest Achievement.

Story

There is a small story associated with the event. Progression is gated behind the collection of the ghost dodos. Start:

"ERROR: System malfunction... Dodo ghosts have overridden the Primary Simulation."

No.1:

"System alert: There appear to be ghosts in the machine."

No.10:

"Dodo birds were excluded from the simulation because they went extinct 350 years ago."

No.20:

"Multiple dodo incidents are being detected throughout the simulation. They shouldn't be here."

No.30:

"What do they want? What are they trying to say?"

No.40:

"Did that one just wink at me?"

No.50:

"Perhaps they wish simply to be part of the simulation. Find the last dodos and set them free. You're almost there!"

End:

"Well, they got their wish! Dodo birds are now part of the simulation. Thank you, Universe Architect. Calculating… System repaired."
