"Amino Acids are the building blocks of life."

Amino Acid is the 1st Life and the 1st Primordial Soup generator obtained in the Primary Simulation's Main Tree, which can generate Entropy EntropyEntropy.

Design[]

This generator has the design of an aspartic acid molecule, with four carbon particles, four oxygen particles, six hydrogen particles, and a nitrogen particle. It belongs in the Primordial Soup garden, where it floats around freely. Tapping on the Amino Acid prompts a bubbly sound.

Description[]

"Atoms and molecules bond together to create amino acids, organic compounds that combine to build proteins. They are some of the most essential building blocks for life."

Upgrades[]

Amino Acid has 4 upgrades, increasing the generator efficiency with a total x6.96192e13 multiplier.

Achievements[]

Icon Name Description Requires
Achievement Amino Origins Amino Origins In 1806, French chemists Louis-Nicolas Vauquelin and Pierre Jean Robiquet isolated a compound in asparagus that was subsequently named asparagine, the first amino acid to be discovered. 50 Amino Acid
Achievement Acids, Acids Everywhere Acids, Acids Everywhere A complete protein is a food source that contains an adequate proportion of each of the nine essential amino acids necessary in the human diet. 100 Amino Acid
Achievement Acid Trip Acid Trip What do you call an acid with an attitude? An A—Mean—Oh acid! 250 Amino Acid
Achievement Peptide Bonding Peptide Bonding When you combine two common amino acids, aspartic acid and phenylalanine, they create the artificial sweetener aspartame. This is commonly found in sugar-free and diet sodas. 500 Amino Acid
Achievement Protein Chain Protein Chain 9 amino acids that are essential for human life cannot be produced naturally by the human body, and thus must be consumed as food. 1000 Amino Acid

Trivia[]

  • The Achievement "Acids, Acids Everywhere" is a reference to an Internet meme 'X, X everywhere' with its origins from Toy Story 2.
  • The Achievement "Acid Trip" also references the hallucinogenic experience from taking LSD.
