Andromeda Galaxy is the 37th Interstellar Object, the 5th Galaxy, and the 3rd Spiral obtained in the Beyond (Rank 27), which can generate Stardust StardustStardust.

Description[]

"With 1 trillion stars and 30 satellite galaxies under her gravitational spell, Andromeda is the galactic queen of the Local Group. As with stars, mass is destiny, the prime driver of a galaxy’s fate. What does that fact mean for number two, the Milky Way?"

Traits[]

The rare traits matching this generators type are: Galaxy . Andromeda Galaxy is also affected by the epic traits: Cosmology , Dark Matter , Dark Energy . It is also affected by the constellations: Eridanus,Ophiuchus,Andromeda, as well as by the generator rank.

Collision Course In 4.5 billion years, Andromeda and Milky Way will collide. Two spiral galaxies in the Hercules Cluster, their arms intertwined, preview a snapshot of the galactic battle—a billion-year process. Other galaxies at various stages of interplay fill out the picture. Generator Unlocked
Milkomeda Andromeda will dominate, but the Milky Way won’t crash and die. The stars will rarely even touch. Instead, they will lose their orderly orbits and, over a billion or so years, merge into one giant elliptical galaxy. Milkomeda will be the new boss of the Local Group. Collision Course

Astronomy Mission[]

Andromeda Galaxy's Astronomy Mission is Simulated Collision.

"In simulations, a collision of spiral galaxies looks more like a dance and a hug. They twirl around each other while tidal forces rip apart the arms and fling stars into new orbits. The stars don’t touch—they’re too far apart—as they merge into one elliptical galaxy."

Simulated Collision[]

Reduce Andromeda Galaxy cost by up to x10 at Rank 9.

Achievements[]

Icon Name Description Requires
Antennae Galaxies Just 200 million years ago, two spiral galaxies met and cast out a pair of tidal tails that look like ant antennae. Their merging hearts now preview the starburst phase of Milkomeda: a boost in mass produces swarms of star clusters, each with many thousands of newborns. Andromeda Galaxy Rank 3
Black Hole Collision When two galaxies hug, what happens to their black holes? Do they join forces in a supermassive explosion? Maybe. Our best direct evidence lies at the heart of UGC 4211, a newly merged galaxy. Two black holes are poised side by side, just 750 light years apart. Andromeda Galaxy Rank 6
