Anseriformes is the 6th Life, the 6th Land and the 2nd Bird generator obtained in the Primary Simulation's Reptile Sub Tree, which can generate Entropy EntropyEntropy.

Design[]

Anseriformes takes the appearance of a male mallard duck (Anas platyrhynchos). Three of these mallard ducks swim in a group in the lake in the Plains section of the Land garden. They are close to the capybaras (Glires), the Tetrapods, the echidna (Monotremes), the Turtles, and the chickens (Galliformes). The ducks have a swimming animation with their padded feet moving.

The Anseriform quacks when clicked on.

Description[]

"Anseriformes are a group of birds uniquely adapted for an aquatic environment. Along with Galliformes, Anseriformes are one of only two types of modern birds that date back to (and survived) the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event."

Upgrades[]

Anseriformes has 5 upgrades, increasing the generator efficiency with a total x2.1168e11 multiplier.

Icon Name Description Cost Efficiency Requires
Anseriformes Dabbling Dabbling Ducks participate in a form of hunting known as "dabbling" where they tip their head down and tail up to catch fish, insects, and water plants. EntropyEntropy 4.60 E64 100% Anseriformes
Anseriformes Ducks Ducks Small aquatic birds that can be found in both salt and freshwater, ducks are known for their distinctive "quack" cry. They are adapted more for swimming than for flight, but can take to the air using their short but muscular wings. EntropyEntropy 3.22 E65 200% Dabbling
Anseriformes Geese Geese Geese are medium-sized birds with long necks and webbed feet adapted for swimming. They are known for their V-shaped migratory patterns. EntropyEntropy 6.57 E67 400% Dabbling
Ducks
Anseriformes Monogamy Monogamy Swans famously mate for life and have been known to mourn after a mate dies. They are fiercely protective of their nests and chicks, and can pair bond as early as 20 months old. EntropyEntropy 3.86 E66 300% Dabbling
Geese
Anseriformes Swan Swan Large birds with long elegant necks, swan's beauty hides their power—they are very strong, and often territorial. They live on water, eat an herbivorous diet, and mate for life. EntropyEntropy 7 E109 176399999900% Monogamy

Achievements[]

Icon Name Description Requires
Achievement Ducks A-Dabbling Ducks A-Dabbling The word "duck" comes from the Old English word for "to dive". Ducks are known for their practice of dabbling, where they plunge their heads and necks into the water to hunt for small fish, water insects, and plants. 25 Anseriformes
Achievement When Swans Attack When Swans Attack The wings of swans are extremely strong, and their flapping can be heard from up to a mile away. When provoked by humans, they have been known to attack, and can break a man's leg with a blow from their powerful wings. 50 Anseriformes
Achievement Talk to Me, Goose Talk to Me, Goose Geese have coexisted with humans for many years. It is thought that they may have been the first birds domesticated by humans, with evidence indicating that they may have been bred as far back as 3000 years ago in Egypt. 100 Anseriformes
Achievement Are You My Mummy? Are You My Mummy? Through a process known as imprinting, baby ducks and geese will bond with the first creature that they see after hatching. They have been known to imprint on humans, dogs, and even light aircraft and hang gliders. 150 Anseriformes
Achievement Beware of Goose Beware of Goose Geese can be loud and territorial and have been used as guard animals throughout history. In Ancient Rome, they guarded the Temple of Juno, and today they are still used to patrol police stations in some rural parts of China. 250 Anseriformes
