ℹ️️
Beta contents are still under development, and may change significantly prior to release. They can also be considered as spoilers, as they are upcoming contents.
"Joining the beta program allows you to be among the first to access new features, provide valuable feedback, and help shape the future of our product." — Computer Lunch, Cell to Singularity developer
"The beta content is still under development and isn't the final version. Due to changes that will occur with ongoing development, please be aware that your progress in the new content might be deleted periodically, without warning." — App description on TestFlight
Betas are versions of the game which only allow a few players who opted in the program to play, in order to test the new features before the public release. As of now, the new content can be a new Beyond episode, a new exploration, or an expansion to the Primary Simulation (or multiple of the above). You will NOT lose your progress when joining or leaving beta, but Beyond saves may be altered multiple times as new content is added or tuned. If you join the beta in iOS via TestFlight, all in-app purchases are free because of TestFlight's feature.

Guidelines (in Discord)[]
- Experimental Builds: Beta versions are a work in progress. Your gameplay might include bugs and you could lose progress.
- Confidentiality: Please keep all discussions about beta content within the beta-exclusive channels.
- Bug Reporting: Report issues in the beta builds exclusively in the beta bug reporting channel only.
Features[]
Beyond Jump[]
Beyond Jump is a Beta-exclusive feature in the Beyond, which allows beta testers to replay previous beyond episodes as the developers add, remove, or tune content. It is available on any episode after episode 17. Beyond Jump appears as a glowing magenta square button found in the tree next to Alpha Centauri. It will only appear if your game is a beta version.
Mechanics[]
When you rank up to the next episode in the beyond, the game creates a save point. The beyond jump allows you to revert the Beyond section of the game to any of these saves. Keep in mind though most content you unlock in the Beyond will be LOST or REVERTED.
- Generators will be LOST
- Trait cards will be LOST
- Astronomy missions will be LOST
- Constellations will be LOST
- Stardust will be REVERTED
- Dark Matter will be REVERTED (this includes any you may have gotten from event leaderboard rewards)
- Constellation Fragments will be REVERTED
- Darwinium will be REVERTED
- Achievements will be SAVED
- Primary Simulation progress will be SAVED
- Mesozoic Valley progress will be SAVED
- Exploration progress will be SAVED
Select an episode from the dropdown menu, and when you're ready, press the big purple "Jump!" button
Automatic Resets[]

When a new beta update is released, especially when new beyond content is involved, the developers might make the beyond jump automatically active and send you to the previous episode, to allow you to replay the new beta episode with new tuning changes in place.
Current Beta Content[]
As of beta version 42.24, beta testers only have access to the following content:
- Bug fixes to the Reality Reboot
- Singularity achievements
- Primary reset jump
- Scientific Revolution (only the alpha parts)
