Crab Pulsar is the 20th Interstellar Object and the 2nd Supernova obtained in the Beyond (Rank 23), which can generate Stardust StardustStardust.

Description[]

"Near the heart of the Crab Nebula is the core of its exploded star, reborn. The Crab Pulsar, a neutron star, packs 1.5 solar masses into a ball as wide as a city, rotating 30 times per second. Its tiny size and immense density keep this energetic orb from flying apart."

Traits[]

There are no rare traits that match this generators type. Crab Pulsar is affected by the epic traits: Cosmology , Dark Matter , Dark Energy . It is also affected by the constellations: Eridanus,Carina, as well as by the generator rank.

Icon Name Description Requires
Crab Pulsar High-Energy Beams High-Energy Beams The star’s blue glow is not from nuclear fusion—there is none—but from extremely high-energy radiation. A liquid core of mostly neutrons is topped by electrons traveling near the speed of light in a powerful magnetic field. Energy beams shoot out of both magnetic poles. Generator Unlocked
Crab Pulsar Little Green Men Little Green Men Like searchlights, energy beams sweep in circles as the star spins. They strike Earth in pulses of radio waves, one pulse per star rotation. The first pulsar signals detected, in 1967, were so rhythmic they were jokingly called LGMs—“little green men,” as in aliens. High-Energy Beams

Achievements[]

Icon Name Description Requires
Achievement Hellish Worlds Hellish Worlds Lich is a pulsar named after evil creatures that defy death with magic. The neutron star blasts three exoplanets with extreme radiation, an onslaught that never ends for Poltergeist ("noisy ghost" in German), Phobetor (a beast in your dreams), and Draugr (Norse zombie). Crab Pulsar Rank 3
Achievement Kilonova Kilonova When two neutron stars collide, the mega-blast sends out gravitational waves in all directions. In 2017, a wave front reached Earth and, within hours, telescopes spotted the aftermath of the collision: a new star called a kilonova! Crab Pulsar Rank 6

Trivia[]

  • Crab Pulsar is a relatively young neutron star in the Crab Nebula.
  • The design of the Crab Pulsar ingame resembles an X-ray view of the pulsar, not a true-color view.
