Description[]

"Eoraptor is one of the earliest known dinosaurs. It lived approximately 231—228 million years ago, during the late Triassic period. This small, quick omnivore lived alongside archosaurs, proto-mammals, and other early dinosaurs."

Eoraptor (/'i:oʊˌræptər/) is a genus of small, lightly built, basal sauropodomorph. One of the earliest-known dinosaurs, it lived approximately 231 to 228 million years ago, during the Late Triassic in Western Gondwana, in the region that is now northwestern Argentina.

Paleontology world: The Eoraptor, was given the name raptor but it has no relations to the Velociraptor or any dromaeosauridea.
