Human Expedition is the 15th Civilization and the 2nd Mars Civilization generator obtained in the Primary Simulation, which can generate Ideas IdeasIdeas.

Design[]

The Human Expedition is modeled like a stylized rocket with with four fins. There are also some windows at one of the sides at the top where a cockpit could be located.

Description[]

"For the first time, humans travel to another planet. We are now officially an interplanetary species."

Upgrades[]

Human Expedition has 9 upgrades, increasing the generator efficiency with a total x10.00925 multiplier.

Icon Name Description Cost Efficiency Requires
Human Expedition Deflection Shields Deflection Shields Mars has a thin atmosphere and exposure to radiation and solar flares is dangerous for our human explorers. We need protection in the form of shields to guard us. IdeasIdeas 1.39e19 15% Human Expedition
Human Expedition Martian Mining Martian Mining Mars has many volcanoes, and as a result, the planet is rich with compounds and minerals like copper, iron, nickel, lead, silver, bismuth, and many more. IdeasIdeas 2.11e19 50% Human Expedition
Human Expedition Cyanobacteria Cyanobacteria Cyanobacteria is necessary for soil adaptation and for the viable production of food, fuel, and oxygen. By cultivating these tiny organisms, we have opened up the potential for long-term life support on the Red Planet. IdeasIdeas 2.64e19 20% Human Expedition
Human Expedition Resource Extraction Equipment Resource Extraction Equipment Mining isn’t easy when you’re the first people on the planet. We’ll need drilling and extraction equipment if we’re going to harvest the planet’s abundant geological resources. IdeasIdeas 3.17e19 50% Martian Mining
Human Expedition Microgravity Research Microgravity Research Time spent in space is hard on an astronaut’s body. The effects of low gravity on bones is still being studied, and we’ll need to know more before we begin sending astronauts on long interplanetary missions. IdeasIdeas 6.6e19 15% Human Expedition
Human Expedition HAB HAB HAB is short for Habitation Module, a pressurized environment that offers protection from the sun, radiation, and dust storms. IdeasIdeas 6.67e19 25% Deflection Shields
Human Expedition Biodome Biodome The next step up from the HAB, biodomes are closed ecological systems. As more explorers land on Mars, this is where they will live. IdeasIdeas 1.06e20 30% 3 Human Expedition
HAB
Human Expedition Psychological Support Psychological Support The first astronauts to land on Mars will have to be psychologically strong. Months of separation from their families back on Earth, and the isolation of space, can take their toll on the human psyche, and we’ll need good support to keep these explorers mentally well. IdeasIdeas 1.32e20 50% 6 Human Expedition
Human Expedition Propellant Production Plant Propellant Production Plant The sooner we can use the resources of Mars to create the fuel we need to send space shuttles between the Red Planet and Earth, the better. IdeasIdeas 2.64e21 15% Resource Extraction Equipment
