"The first signs of life bubble up in the primordial soup."
The Prokaryotic Cell is the third generator in the game and the first living organism.
Description[]
"The first living organism. These tiny uni-cellular organisms lacked a membrane-wrapped nucleus, but paved the way for the rest of life to begin."
Design[]
This generator is modeled after a prokaryotic cell cut open to reveal its organelles. There are capsules, flagella, nucleoids, cytoplasm, pili, and cell membranes and walls. They belong in the Primordial Soup habitat, and bounce around an invisible sphere wall. Clicking on the Prokaryotic Cell prompts a bubbly selecting sound.
Upgrades[]
Prokaryotic Cell has 5 upgrades, increasing the generator efficiency with a total x36 multiplier.
Icon | Name | Description | Cost | Efficiency | Requires |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Mitochondria | The powerhouse of the cell, mitochondria are organelles that converts glucose to energy. | 400 | 100% | Prokaryotic Cell | |
Nucleus | A cell's control center, the nucleus contains the chromosomes that house DNA. | 500 | 100% | Prokaryotic Cell | |
Virus | A virus is a biological agent that replicates within other cells. Surprisingly, its ability to infiltrate the DNA of other organisms is one reason that humans even exist. | 900 | 200% | Prokaryotic Cell Mitosis | |
Flagellum | A flagellum is a tail-like appendage that protrudes from a cell body and helps it to move around. | 2.14e7 | 50% | 50 Prokaryotic Cell Nucleus | |
Ribosomes | Ribosomes are tiny particles that help to synthesize proteins and polypeptides in the cell. | 2.32e10 | 100% | 100 Prokaryotic Cell Mitosis |

Trivia[]
- The prokaryotes contain two domains; bacteria and archaea.
- Additionally, Cyanobacteria, which are a phylum of domain bacteria, a phylum, also known as blue-green algae are the first photosynthesis organisms.
- Despite Cyanobacteria being a type of prokaryote, in the game, they are an upgrade for the Human Expedition Generator.
