Sharks are unlocked as the trophy for completing a cycle of the Daily Mutation. A new species of shark unlocks every 7 days that the player logs into the game, with six species in total to collect. Sharks affect fish production, but are not very helpful, as in the time needed to get even one shark, valuable pre-Singularity generators such as the Cyborg or Snake have already replaced the entropy niche.

Design[]

The sharks show up in the ocean garden view, where they swim around the environment and eat fish, with blood trailing behind them as they do so. This "fish hunt" is only visual and does not affect Entropy production.

All of the sharks are completely silent.

Leopard Shark[]

Leopard Shark view

A Leopard Shark swimming against the barren background of the ocean.

The Leopard Shark (Triakis semifasciata) resembles a brown leopard shark, and swims on the outer edge of the invisible sphere wall where the Jellyfish, Flatworm, and Fish swim around. It doesn't swim as far as the dolphins (Cetaceans) or the Megalodon, and it doesn't eat any fish. They are one of smallest sharks in the game, and the size is comparable to that of a Flatworm.

Tiger Shark[]

Tiger Shark view

Tiger Shark munches on a fish.

The Tiger Shark (Galeocerdo cuvier) resembles a tiger shark. Since it has no patterns, this could be suggested that it is a very elderly shark. It frequently delves into the invisible sphere wall to hunt fish.

Whale Shark[]

Whale shark view

The Whale Shark swims near a reef.

The Whale Shark (Rhincodon typus) resembles a whale shark. It moves extremely slowly, and swims closer to the invisible sphere wall than the Leopard Shark. It is slightly smaller in-game than in real life, which could mean that it is a juvenile. It doesn't eat any fish.

Great White[]

Great White view

The Great White hunts for fish.

The Great White (Carcharodon carcharias) resembles a great white shark. It swims through the invisible sphere wall just like the Tiger Shark and hunts down some fish. Its size is close to the Whale Shark, but smaller.

Hammerhead[]

Hammerhead view

The Hammerhead swims into the invisible sphere wall to enjoy a meal of fish.

The Hammerhead (Family Sphyrnidae) resembles a bonnethead hammerhead shark. It has the distinctive T-shaped head and swipes through the invisible sphere wall for fish. Its size is comparable to the Great White.

Megalodon[]

Megalodon view

The Megalodon swims near some Sponges.

The Megalodon (Otodus megalodon) resembles what we think a megalodon looks like. It is very large, about twice the size of a dolphin (much higher proportions in real life). Despite its carnivorous nature, it doesn't hunt fish; instead, it swims around the invisible sphere wall at a far distance, the furthest away from it, further than the dolphins (Cetaceans).
