Upgrades

An example of an upgrade: Mitochondria

Upgrades are purchasable items that can be purchased with currencies throughout the game. They are only in Primary Simulation and Events. While they make changes throughout the game, such as making Generators more efficient, increasing tap production, or unlock new features. Most Generators require upgrades from previous Generators to be reached, except for Sponge to Jellyfish, Jellyfish to Flatworm, Superhuman to Humanoid Colonist, and Android to Sentient Android.
